If you like walking, but not too far, and enjoy chatting as you go along then the Strollers group is for you. You will be in the company of like-minded people.

We meet at 10.30 on the first Friday of each month and stroll for 1-2 miles. There is usually a stop for coffee at the end or during the walk. Venues vary, some are local others further afield, usually within a 35 minute drive.  Lifts are available.  Car sharing is the norm for this friendly and chatty group. 

The weather for the time of year and the conditions underfoot determines where we walk each month. Some strolls are by water - River Hamble, Southsea, Lee on Solent, Stokes Bay, Warsash, River Meon, Eling Tidal Mill, and others are in woodland, parks or villages - Wickham, Southampton Common, Boorley Park, Hatch Grange, Alver Valley, Knowle Park and Stoke Wood. 

Suggestions for new places to walk are always welcome.
